A lightbulb w birds on its wires, a rose closeup with a cat profile inside, an arrangement of tailor’s tools, a painted primate - Sip & Sketch Session #35

Drawings from online zoom sketch session 12/11/20

Sip n Sketch session #35, hosted by theater costume and set designers, Lisa Jordan and Cindi Taylor,

Thank you so much for making these sessions possible.

They curate a set of images for each session. Participants draw each selection at varying ‘pose’ lengths - until the timer rings. Then most participants show their drawings briefly for a group screen shot in ‘gallery ‘ view.

That ribbon chapel building is by  Hiroshi Nakamura

The primate is a Mandrill, similar to a baboon. It appears to be painted but that is how they are made!

The dancer wearing a crown of roses, reminds me of a Caravaggio subject.
