Kinney/Robinson farmhouse, St. George, student display, adult art class, 9/18/18

We started with four practice exercises on a sheet of paper.
1 continuous line drawing of the reference photo.
2 continuous line drawing with yellow lines. And then color in everything except the yellow lines in the dark color.
3 color in with a dark color the shapes and leave a white line drawing without actually drawing it.
4 tonal drawing of the reference photo in a dark color.
Final drawing draw from the reference photo as you wish. Students had line conversion enlargements to work from which helped getting the scale of the photograph.
