Warmer winter walk - encounters, memory notes and sketches 2/21/16,

Dog walkers passing by, kids playing dress-up, lone person huddled in a doorway, birds calling... and a cat to greet me on my return.

Winter afternoon walk, 2/20/16 memory notes n sketches

Saturday walk... only the book. I write the notes and make the sketches as soon as I get home. Once they are done, I let myself look at my photos. Probably won't be any walk photos here tho.

late afternoon winter walk 2/19/16, memory notes and sketches,

ok, i will try to catch up a bit more.. with what I started earlier...
...Later, here are  photos from the walk. I took too many and am still so confused over what folders they are filed in, what the proper dates are. Hopeless mess.
Hope you can read the memory notes and get enough from the sketches!
So, after another try at sorting out...

Three winter walks - memory notes and sketches, 2/18/16 - 2/21/16, maybe...

I am too mixed up with these pics, what came when, since I got behind with posting them. It takes too long to prep them for upload etc.

.....sorry, this may get completed another time. it is just too mixed up to sort them out now...

Crumpled paper Crow and Valentine Hearts - Crow stands!

Crow stands on its own now. It has found some paper cut out hearts as well, both insides and outsides. Happy Valentine's Day!

Crumpled paper Crow stands for a moment.

Then falls over. More balance adjustments but the next position does not look very crow like. There are supposed to be two pics here, but i don't see two?

Larger sketchbook pics for previous post, walk 2/06/16

These pics were missing from my previous post. Somehow I sent up photos of another day! They should post here in their largest size. I could save as a draft, but will leave them because they should be showing in their large size... I have yet to figure out how to access large size images from the blogposts when I am not signed in to edit.

Day after our snow storm, walk, 2/6/16 -journal notes, memory sketches, photos

Day after our snow storm, walk, 2/6/16 -journal notes, memory sketches, photos
Photo/Camera/Tech Notes: This time I reset the white balance in the camera for the journal notes n sketches. Instead of 'auto', I used 'incandescent' setting though this is a twisty bulb lamp, (whatever they are called, fluoro-carbon?), as the overhead lighting for taking photos of the sketchbook. A solution that keeps the yellow right out of the pic at last. They did still need the auto brightening adjustment after that.
Testing also to see if multi photo upload results in posting the same order or alters the posting order. I have been uploading to online email client one at a time' That has been resulting in posting just as they were uploaded and not by their file name order.
