Bird by the shoreline, crayon drawing, 6/21/21

I’m lightly considering ways to work regularly on a long term project yet complete small steps regularly. One idea, like patchwork quilts, is to complete small panels that can then be put together.

There are so many possibilities for this. Last night I did a crayon drawing of a bird. Two pieces of light paper pasted together or a piece of card stock. Today I pasted a paper stick to the back of it so I could manipulate it in another context. That makes a good prop. The image could stand for this photo.

Sip & Sketch session #59, hosted by theater costume and set designers, Lisa Jordan and Cindi Taylor,

Thank you so much for making these sessions possible.

They curate a set of images for each session. Participants draw each selection at varying 'pose' lengths - until the timer rings. Then most participants show their drawings briefly for a group screen shot in 'gallery ' view.
