Spring flowers - daffodils, tulips, hyacinths. Student drawings, adult class, 4/25/16

Cherry blossoms, trees and koi kites/puppets for the Japanese Spring Festivals, and baby animal drawings - some kids and adults classes in April

Cherry blossoms, trees and koi kites/puppets for the Japanese Spring Festivals, and baby animal drawings, kids' and adults' classes in April.

These koi, (carp), kites or as stick puppets here, by kids and adults, swim across our quickie sky or water.

Make them simply by folding a sheet of paper in half the long way. Fold the open long side over a few times. Turn over to the inside one of the open ends, (like you would do a grocery bag but fold to the inside. Cut some body and tail profile to give the fish more fish like shape. Then decorate. Start with the eyes. Draw with strong black crayon so it shows up well. Draw the designs as you wish - gills, mouth ripples, fins, scales, tail fin lines. Color it!

Note that one of these 'koi' kites may actually be a rainbow trout - or, rainbow carp!

Adult class drew cherry blossoms and trees.

Baby animals - we drew a kitten - one is named Butterscotch after the child's adult cat. We did a chick, a calf, a lamb, and a colt as well.

List of the file names in my folder. Not all of them are uploaded here though. I may later add the links to the images on the server.

HappyBirthdayCK - a little birthday greetings video of cakes and whistling.

Some digitally drawn birthday cakes and out-of-tune crackly whistling Happy Birthday on my youtube channel. Now I can easily send birthday greetings. ...providing this actually posts to the blog. Tried to post a different video yesterday. It would not post here. A mystery since it is the same company - Blogger, YouTube, and Google. The video posted to the other venues with the vid sharer. Who knows.

Just in case, here is the link: https://youtu.be/5ApvDTou0hc

Retry/ Circus Puppet Dance - little triangle papercut acrobat clown puppets dance to the March of the Gladiators

Will have to do a link instead. The video just is not posting here.
https://youtu.be/O0kye-1pvJk
My little triangle papercut  acrobat clown puppets dance to the March of
the Gladiators, (circus music). This is 'danced' & recorded with my
laptop's little built in iSight  camera/camcorder, with the music
playing from the laptop. I wanted to dance the puppets to the music
rather than add the music later. Did you know you could get midi files
of old music, throw them into GarageBand and the tracks populate into
however many voices are in the file. You can change the tempo too. I
don't have a lot of instruments to use in my GarageBand. Here all the
voices are playing as different pianos. But, it sounds good enough to
dance the puppets to. I could use practice in dancing these puppets.
Also, at the end I could not see the set-up well enough to turn it off
at the right spot. The light glared too much and I just could not see
what was going on! Finally got it. Now I can't stop hearing the music in
my head.
